POSITION OVERVIEW:

We’re seeking an experienced Assistant Manager/Supervisor. You’ll assist in running the daily business—overseeing production, service, staff, and profitability. This is a hands‑on leadership role perfect for a culinary professional ready to shape a brand from the ground up.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2-3 years of proven experience in a bakery/cafe environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for culinary excellence and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • CPR and first aid certification preferred
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Hire, train, mentor, and manage cafe staff to ensure optimal performance and adherence to standards.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
  • Implement and enforce food safety protocols and sanitation practices to comply with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with back-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and communication between the kitchen and eating area.
  • Manage cash handling procedures related to cafe operations, including POS system oversight.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Always maintaining a high level of professionalism, including dressing appropriately, being punctual, and behaving in a respectful manner.
