JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting in food preparation and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This position requires a passion for hospitality, strong teamwork skills, and an understanding of food safety practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to supervise others effectively.
- Experience in bartending or culinary roles is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to all patrons, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment.
- Support team management by training new staff members and supervising daily operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following all financial protocols.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
- Engage with customers to promote menu items and address any inquiries or concerns.
