JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant Manager to join our team. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Strong team management skills with the ability to supervise others effectively.
  • Experience in bartending or culinary roles is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

  • Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces and kitchen equipment.
  • Support team management by training new staff members and supervising daily operations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and service.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, following all financial protocols.
  • Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Engage with customers to promote menu items and address any inquiries or concerns.
