JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team across various location - New West, POCO, Surrey, Burnaby. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service and espresso-based drink preparation, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing exceptional service to ensure customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous barista experience or experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to the recipes.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
• Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
