Your mission: Should you choose to accept it… The Springs Resort is seeking a dedicated Cafe Attendant to provide friendly service and ensure the cafe runs smoothly. This role involves preparing light meals, serving beverages, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. This is a non-exempt role. Where You Can Make an Impact: Greet and assist guests with orders and inquiries. Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and light food items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area. Process transactions accurately and efficiently. Restock supplies and inventory as needed. Monitor food and beverage quality to meet guest expectations. Assist with opening and closing duties. Provide recommendations to guests for menu items. Collaborate with team members to enhance the guest experience. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines. Requirements Education/Formal Training: High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Previous experience in a cafe or food service setting preferred. Knowledge/Skills: Strong customer service and multitasking skills. Knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques. Attention to detail and a positive attitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Basic cash handling and point-of-sale system proficiency.
