ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience within a similar environment
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and current food trends.
• Excellent communication skills, energetic, with a professional attitude.
• Ability to remain organized and composed in high pressured situations.
• Full, unlimited working rights in Australia.

Desirable:

• NSW Food Safety Certificate.
• NSW Food Safety Supervisor certificate.

THE ROLE:

We are looking for a skilled Chef De Partie to join our talented team working within a vibrant cafe nestled within our Fitness Centre. Responsible for preparing high quality dishes, managing your section, contributing to menu development whilst ensuring adherence to HACCP and cleanliness standards.
This is a full-time role requiring availability to during the week and on weekends between 6:30am starts to 3:30pm finishes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, cook, and serve a range of dishes in line with Royal Sydney standards.
• Collaborate and contribute new dishes/ideas to the menu with the Executive Chef/team.
• Manage daily section setup and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCAP).
• Lead by example and work independently when required.
• Monitor food quality during preparation.
