Our Owner run cafe is busy with lots of lovely regulars and visitors and we need another member in our kitchen team. We are looking for someone who is flexible, easy going and a team player, but also able to self motivate. Your duties will include prepping, stock management, managing and keeping your kitchen area clean and in order, cooking our menu of fresh local ingredients - our menu changes seasonally and you will have input into each new menu if you wish.
We are looking for someone who can work full time or part time, we open 7 days a week, 8.30am - 4.30pm. Plus two evenings a week Fri & Sat until 10pm. Shifts will be flexible and we will endeavour to accommodate any personal needs if we can , but you must be flexible to support the whole team - be able to cover holidays and busy periods. Weekend availability is a must, with occasional weekend day/s off in rotation.
Experience is preferred, however we are happy to train the right candidate with on the job training plus attaining catering industry recognised qualifications
