SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Qualified Chef with relevant industry experience
  • Commercial Cookery Certificate III or equivalent
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Solid understanding of cooking techniques with a flair for modern presentation
  • Passion and commitment to delivering high-quality food
  • Versatile and personable professional willing to engage with colleagues and customers
  • Motivated to bring joy to your customers, and driven to always improve
  • Must have a visa with full Australian working rights for 38 hours per week
  • Must have a Police check or willing to obtain

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking expressions of interest from qualified enthusiastic Chefs who are ready for a café kitchen, with a long-term loyal customer base. Working a rotating roster.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Food preparation and menu execution to superior standards

  • Maintain a front of house presence and engagement with customers
  • Model high standards of performance and behaviour
  • Adhere to budget requirements, manage product wastage, and spoilage
  • Maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety, infection control, and cleanliness in accordance with standards
  • Ensure all staff adhere to food safety procedure
