Café/Brunch Chef – Scandinavian Café-Bar
Location: Bath City Centre
Pay: £13.60/hr
We’re a newly opened Scandinavian-style café-bar in Bath, serving a creative brunch menu with Nordic twists alongside familiar favourites. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right chef to take ownership of a small, focused kitchen and produce high-quality, consistent food.
Menu highlights include: full breakfasts with dill sausages, rösti, gravlax, Eggs Benedict/Royale/Florentine, smashed avocado on rye, köttbullar, Danish rye bread, smørrebrød (open sandwiches), and freshly baked sweet breads and treats.

Your responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook our full brunch menu to a high standard
  • Manage prep, stock, and cleanliness in a small kitchen
  • Bake and produce in-house items (breads, savouries, cakes, sweet bakes)
  • Maintain food safety and hygiene standards

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous chef experience in brunch, café, or similar
  • Confidence working independently in a small kitchen
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Level 2+ Food Hygiene certificate (preferred)
  • Interest in Scandinavian flavours and presentation
