Job Title: Café/Concession Cashier Location: Scripps Birch Aquarium Café, La Jolla Job Type: Part-time / Seasonal Job Summary: Splash Cafe is looking for friendly and reliable concession stand cashiers to provide excellent customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages. Attendants will handle transactions, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all customers. Responsibilities: * Greet customers and take orders in a friendly manner * Prepare and serve food and beverages (i.e. sandwiches, salads, burgers, snacks, hot dogs, nachos, sodas, ice cream) * Operate cash register and handle payments accurately * Maintain cleanliness of workstations and dining areas * Restock inventory and supplies as needed * Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines * Assist with opening and closing duties * Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years old. * Barista experience preferred but not required.  * Previous food service or cashier experience is a plus, but not required * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs Schedule & Compensation: * Flexible shifts, weekend availability is required and holidays * can accommodate set schedules to work around school * Fun and friendly work environment * Parking included at no cost to employees * Daytime Work hours: Shifts in the range of 8 AM – 5:30 PM on weekdays and until 7:30pm on Sundays. 
Responsibilities
