Job Title: Café/Concession Cook Location: Scripps Birch Aquarium Café, La Jolla Job Type: Part-time $20-$24 hourly plus tips Job Summary: Splash Cafe is looking for friendly and reliable cook to provide excellent customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages. Attendants will prepare food orders, maintain cleanliness, and ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all customers. Responsibilities: * Prepare and serve food and beverages (i.e. sandwiches, salads, burgers, snacks, hot dogs, etc.) * Maintain cleanliness of workstations and dining areas * Restock inventory and supplies as needed * Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines * Assist with opening and closing duties * Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries Qualifications: * Must be at least 18 years old * Previous food service is required * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Strong communication and teamwork skills * Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs Schedule & Compensation: * Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays * Pay: $20 - 24 per hour (based on experience) * Part time schedule with closing shifts 3-5 shifts a week * Scheduled shift times approximately 12:00pm-8:30pm * Parking included at no cost to employees
