FARM CAFÉ KITCHEN & FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBER

We’re looking for a friendly, hands-on person to join our farm café team. This role is primarily based in the kitchen, preparing delicious food to order (including cooked breakfasts), but you’ll also support front of house when needed.
If you love good food, enjoy working with people, and can keep a cool head in a busy café environment – we’d love to hear from you.
Availability: You must be available Sundays and Mondays (9am–4pm). Extra shifts may be available during busy periods or to cover holidays/sickness.

What you’ll be doing:

• Preparing and cooking food to order, ensuring excellent taste and presentation
• Assisting with drinks preparation and food service
• Supporting the team front of house as required
• Keeping the kitchen, counters and café clean and organised throughout service
• Delivering friendly, professional service and ensuring every customer feels welcome
• Staying up to date with specials, promotions and seasonal menu items
• Following health, safety and food hygiene standards

What we’re looking for:

• A friendly, positive personality with great communication skills
• Previous experience in a café kitchen (minimum 2 years)
• Food hygiene training/qualification (essential)
• Ability to work well under pressure, take instruction, and use your own initiative
• A genuine interest in local food and drink
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to multitask and stay organised
• Willingness to be on your feet, lift and carry trays, restock and help wherever needed
• Good till/cash-handling knowledge (preferred)
• Smart personal presentation
