Well Catered limited/Kitchen on the Corner is a new and small family independently owned business. We pride ourselves on our high standards of customers service, freshly made to order menu and our hand selected high quality ingredients and cakes.
As Kitchen Cook, the ideal candidate will be oozing with energy and positivity and have excellent customer service skills. The venue offers award-winning cakes & bakes, as well as freshly roasted coffee and an excellent range of delicious breakfasts and lunches.
The role will involve working in the kitchen cooking and preparing our Breakfast and lunch menu. As Cook, you will be responsible for all aspects of the kitchen including preparing and serving all food items from the menu, washing up and ensuring high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen. The ideal candidate should be self motivated and be able to work well within a small team. Knowledge of basic food preparation and storage is essential. Must also be flexible and confident in working and helping at the front of house when needed.
We are looking to hire one person to cover Sundays, Mondays and one other day or two half days in the week. (20-25hrs a week)

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Must have exceptional customer service skills
• A minimum of 2 years experience within a similar role
• A food hygiene certificate and allergy training would be required
• Be well organised and motivated and have a real passion for customer service
• Must work well under pressure with the ability to multi-task
• Be trustworthy and have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to learn
• Be willing to go that extra mile!

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Open and close the kitchen on designated days
• To prepare all meals to a high standard following guidelines and specification
• Ensure that an exceptionally high standard of customer service is delivered at all times – taking opportunities to go the extra mile to make customers smile
• Ensure a clean and tidy environment at all times
• Deal with and resolve complaints to the satisfaction of the customer and the management team
• Be a pro-active member of the team
