A successful candidate will be self-motivated, reliable, passionate, and engaging with the kitchen team. They will be responsible for washing and storing all pots, pans, and utensils in the proper manner, washing/maintaining kitchen area floors, kitchen walls and select kitchen equipment. This is a fast-paced role and requires comfortability operating accordingly. This role will have approximately 20 hours a week scheduled with a focus on Sunday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. Responsibilities Operates dishwashing machine, making sure it is in proper working condition and reports dishwashing machine problems to the appropriate supervisor. Scrapes all pans and pre-washes before putting into washing machine. When washing is completed, empties tank, cleans inside and out with soapy water. Washes pots by hand using prescribed amounts of soap and disinfectant. Ensures all food, grease, and residue is removed. Changes water as needed for best results. Air-dries all items before storing. Stores in neat fashion and rotates stock so all items are used regularly. Maintains pot and pan storage area including surrounding floors and walls. Maintains a sanitary workstation. Helps keep kitchen area clean and keep trash off the floor. Sweeps, washes or mops kitchen as directed and needed before end of shift. Removes all trash to appropriate areas. Performs other duties as assigned. Working Conditions Works in a non-smoking, normal store environment where there is not physical discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, etc. Equipment Operated Dishwashing Equipment Trash Compactor Bailer Requirements Education And Experience (E = Essential D = Desired) High school education or equivalent or current enrollment is required Previous sanitation, dishwashing, or environmental services experience is a plus Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Interpersonal skills Verbal skills Strong attention to detail Ability to operate independently and with a team Physical Requirements Bending Reading Walking Carrying 50 lbs. Responsibilities

The dishwasher will be responsible for washing and storing kitchen items, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area, and ensuring proper operation of dishwashing equipment. Additional duties include sweeping and mopping the kitchen as needed.
