Description:

HELLO EVERYONE,

We are an upscale top-rated 25 seat global concept cafe/bar that runs a quality daytime cafe service and hosts international community and cultural events in the evenings. The main goal of these events is to help people make new connections in Porto with unique food and cocktails to support the service. You will be facilitating the space, taking and running orders, making cocktails and necessary drinks including international style coffees. The role also includes minor managing duties including training, maintaining standards, following and improving processes and solving problems.
We are looking for a candidate that will manage the evening service and event between Wednesday to Sunday with an off-season team of 1 x Cook and Yourself and a mid-season team 1-2 additional team members, event and busyness dependant.
Evening Shifts : from 15:30/16:30 to 23:30/00:30 depending on the day
Start date: Approximately 1st March 2025
Take Home Wage Expectation: €1050 (Entry Manager Level) - €1200 (Proficient) +PLUS Tips

"A MUST” REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent English skills (We have an international team so you will be speaking english 90% of the time)
  • Experience in Bar/Restaurants
  • Management Experience including computer based administration
  • Cocktails Experience and ability to develop seasonal cocktail menus
  • Stock management based on weekly revenue
  • Takes initiative, takes responsibility and solves problems
  • Very well organised and process driven
  • Good communication skills within a team and with customers
  • Work well under pressure with experience in fast paced environments
  • Have an Awesome Vibe with customers, team and event hosts

"A PLUS” REQUIREMENTS:

  • Portuguese Skills
  • Mixology knowledge
  • Barista Experience

Responsibilities:

  • Make Drinks, Cocktails, some coffees
  • Host clients and make them feel that they are welcome
  • Stock management
  • Setup and facilitate events where a host is not present
  • Communication with team
  • Training new team members
  • Handle cash
  • Make sure bar is tidy and clean at all times
