Are you a passionate and creative chef looking for a dynamic role in a unique setting, with a start date in early September? Bar Bicicletta, nestled within the vibrant Camden Art Centre NW3, is seeking a talented Cafe/Event Chef to join our friendly counter-service café!
We offer a distinctive dining experience, combining the fresh, vibrant flavours of Ottolenghi with the classic elegance of River Cafe. Our bright, sun-drenched space, complete with a beautiful landscaped garden, provides a wonderful environment for both our team and our cherished customers.

What We Offer:

• £14 - £15 per hour, with an event rate of £22.
• Paid Overtime
• Stable Hours: Approximately 32 hours per week, with one guaranteed weekend day off.

• Flexible Schedule: Mostly day shifts with availability for around two evening events per month.

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for a dedicated chef who is eager to support our senior kitchen team and contribute to our culinary vision. You’ll be instrumental in:

• Supporting the day-to-day running of our kitchen operations.
• Collaborating with the Head Chef to create seasonal and bespoke menus for events, meticulously tailored to client requirements, and expertly executing them.
• Ensuring strict adherence to all legislative and Government guidelines, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, and COSHH regulations, within your areas of responsibility.

You should also have:

• Proven experience in a similar role for a minimum of 1 year.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
