OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere in our café. This role involves assisting with food preparation, serving customers, and ensuring that the cafe / bar operates smoothly. If you have experience in n a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for fixed hours of 9am to 1pm Wednesday to Sunday.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in a restaurant or café setting is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team as well as alone
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking in a busy environment.

• Assist with breakfast options preparation and food preparation tasks, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and café areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
• Help manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies when necessary.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
• Key holding and further responsibility after initial probation period.
