Overview The Café Manager oversees the daily operations of our kiosk location, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and strong financial performance. The Café Manager will manage nearly all aspects of store leadership- including staff development, quality control, scheduling, customer satisfaction, and inventory management. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, builds strong teams, and takes ownership of both the big picture and day-to-day details that make the kiosk run smoothly and successfully. Personnel Management Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing kiosk team that embodies The Buttery’s hospitality, product standards, and culture. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching to support employee growth and engagement. Manage scheduling to align labor usage with business needs and sales trends. Foster a positive, supportive team environment centered around communication, teamwork, and accountability. Ensure compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations. Operations Management Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient environment that meets brand standards for presentation and hospitality. Oversee equipment functionality, coordinating maintenance or repairs as needed. Manage kiosk inventory, place orders, and track waste, ensuring accuracy and cost efficiency. Support seasonal promotions, new product launches, and on-brand in-store merchandising. Customer Experience & Product Quality Ensure every guest receives warm, consistent, and knowledgeable service that reflects The Buttery’s hospitality standards. Maintain product quality, freshness, and availability throughout the day. Address guest concerns promptly and proactively to improve overall experience. Financial & Business Performance Monitor and manage key financial metrics including labor, waste, COGS, and controllable expenses. Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer engagement. Ensure accurate cash handling, POS operations, and reporting procedures. Contribute to annual budget planning and goal setting. Qualifications 2-3 years of leadership experience in a high volume café, restaurant, or hospitality setting. Strong people management skills, including hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling. Hands-on leadership approach and a commitment to high standards in hospitality and product quality. Knowledge of food safety, basic equipment troubleshooting, and POS systems. Passion for hospitality, with a love for food, beverage, and creating excellent guest experiences.
