Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for two Café Managers to join our Brisbane team: one to lead our established café and another to help launch our brand-new café space later this year.
Both roles are hands-on leadership positions responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the café. You’ll have a strong floor presence during peak times to lead by example and support the team, while overseeing operations across FOH, kitchen and bar. Working closely with our Head Barista and kitchen lead, you’ll create a welcoming space where exceptional hospitality, team culture and operational excellence come together.

THESE ARE FULL-TIME, MON – FRI ROLES, WITH DAYTIME HOURS OF WORK.

  • Existing café role: ideally starting mid-September
  • New café role: starting late October/early November, in line with the venue opening

In this role, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and support FOH, kitchen, and bar teams to deliver outstanding service
  • Set and maintain high standards for hospitality, presentation, and customer care
  • Manage rosters, operational processes, and budgets to ensure smooth service and financial performance
  • Be a visible, calm leader on the floor during busy service periods
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and OH&S standards
  • Partner with national support teams and follow operational frameworks to keep the café aligned with Allpress brand values
  • Handle customer feedback with empathy and accountability, turning challenges into opportunities to build trust
