Description

Experienced restaurant manager required for our award winning café in Gorey. Suitable candidate should have experience in a similar role, references are required. Successful candidate will be responsible for all front of house operations and should have excellent customer service skills, be a strong leader and capable of managing a busy high paced café while delivering a high standard of service. This is a day time position. Cafe opening hours are 8.30am to 4.30 pm, 7 days per week

Responsibilities will include

  • Oversee day-to-day operations
  • Leading the front of house team in ensuring service runs smoothly and to a high standard
  • Implement strategies and set goals for growth
  • Creates a positive team atmosphere among Team Members.
  • Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally
  • Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
  • Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations
  • Delegates and follow-up effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior manager in a similar role, preferably food/drinks focused.
  • Passion for all things food related.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment and under pressure
  • Outstanding Organisation and leadership skills
  • Understanding of HACCP and COVID protocols

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €35,000.00-€40,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Wicklow Town, County Wicklow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Hospitality management: 2 years (preferred)
  • Restaurant: 3 years (preferred)
