Job Description As Café Manager, you’ll be at the heart of creating an exceptional guest experience while overseeing the smooth, day-to-day operations of our Nordic-inspired café, seamlessly integrated within the store. You’ll lead by example—setting high standards for quality, service, and hospitality, while inspiring your team to deliver memorable experiences at every touchpoint. Your leadership will drive team development, operational excellence, and business performance, ensuring your team is well-trained, motivated, and aligned with our café concept. From maintaining product knowledge and service consistency to supporting sustainability goals and promoting a unique local service culture, your role is essential in bringing our café vision to life and leaving a lasting impression on every guest. Key Responsibilities Create a welcoming and attractive café atmosphere personalised to meet the preferences of the customer Lead recruitment, training, and development of the café team in collaboration with the Store Experience Manager Motivate and guide the team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service in line with brand standards Oversee daily operations, including stock management, ordering routines, and adherence to the café concept Champion our brand values and culture, ensuring they are reflected in every customer interaction Drive sustainability initiatives within the café, aligning with company-wide environmental goals Qualifications Proven leadership experience in a café, restaurant, or other food & beverage environment Food and Beveridge / health & safety qualification Customer-focused mindset, with a genuine passion for food and drink and a desire to share that enthusiasm with others Adaptable and flexible, able to respond quickly to customer feedback, menu changes, and stock fluctuations Strong organisational skills, with a track record of leading teams in fast-paced settings to deliver outstanding service Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written Supportive leadership style, offering constructive feedback and coaching to help team members grow Eagerness to learn, with a proactive approach to personal and professional development Comfortable with flexible or irregular working hours, including weekends and holidays Fluency in Finnish and English Additional Information This is a full-time position with a contract of 37.5 hours a week.
