Leahys Open Farm is looking for a Cafe Assistant Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for the daily operations of the cafe and the customer experience.

• Oversee daily cafe operations, including food and beverage service, reservations, and other client needs.
• Ensure food ordering is done on a timely fashion and products are supplied on time and in excellent quality.
• Ensure all staff members are qualified, trained, and friendly.
• Ensure all food is prepared according to company standards and health code guidelines.
• Ensure all coffee products are prepared according to company standards and health code guidelines.
• Ensure the cafe and surrounding area is clean and presentable to customers at all times.
• Assist with special events and other events as needed.
• One of the main roles of this position is to ensure there is a positive work environment for staff members.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Experience:
• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
• Able to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment maintenance preferred but not required.
• Food safety training required.
• HACCP experience and implementation
