Description Café Manager – Milk Creek Café Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport Join the Opening Leadership Team at Milk Creek Café SharBert Enterprises is seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven Café Manager to lead the opening and ongoing operations of Milk Creek Café, a new coffee concept located inside Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport. This leadership role is ideal for someone passionate about coffee, team development, guest experience, and building strong operational systems from the ground up. The Café Manager will oversee all day-to-day operations of the café, including team leadership, staffing, financial performance, customer experience, and vendor relationships. We are especially interested in candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments and bring prior experience with coffee shop openings, startup operations, airport hospitality, or seasonal business leadership. Position Summary The Café Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and operational success of Milk Creek Café. This position will lead and develop a team of approximately 8–12 baristas while ensuring outstanding guest service, strong financial performance, operational consistency, and a positive team culture. This role will work closely with company leadership during the opening process and will play a key role in establishing systems, training programs, operational standards, and workplace culture for the café’s future success. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Personnel Management Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a team of 8–12 baristas and café team members Build a positive, accountable, and hospitality-focused team culture Create schedules and manage labor to align with business needs and financial goals Conduct regular coaching conversations, performance feedback, and team development Lead by example through active floor presence and operational support Guest Experience Ensure every guest receives exceptional hospitality and service Foster a culture of “serving others” through positive interactions with guests and team members Address guest concerns quickly and professionally Maintain high standards for cleanliness, presentation, food safety, and operational excellence Financial & Operational Management Manage café P&L performance, including labor, cost of goods, waste, and controllable expenses Monitor sales trends and identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency Ensure operational procedures and systems are consistently executed Maintain accurate inventory and ordering processes Coordinate with vendors and supplier partners to ensure product quality and continuity Opening & Growth Leadership Support all aspects of the café opening process, including setup, training, workflow development, and operational readiness Help establish systems and best practices for long-term success Adapt quickly to evolving business needs in a new operational environment Collaborate with company leadership on continuous operational improvement initiatives Qualifications Prior management or leadership experience in coffee, café, restaurant, hospitality, or retail operations preferred Experience opening a new café, restaurant, or seasonal operation strongly preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Financial acumen with experience managing labor, inventory, and operational budgets Ability to lead in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment Flexible schedule availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Passion for hospitality, leadership development, and creating great guest experiences What We Look for in a SharBert Leader At SharBert Enterprises, leadership goes beyond operations.
