About Us
Nine Yards is a high-volume, all-day café in thriving South Melbourne and a key venue in the Gather’d Hospitality group. We live by a simple ethos that keeps locals queuing down the footpath: making every guest feel “Always Welcome.”

About You

• 2–3+ years leading a full-service café, with a proven track record on labour and COGS.
• A hands-on leader who thrives on the floor, coaching your team and setting the standard for service.
• A passion for specialty coffee and excellent barista skills are a distinct advantage.
• You have full working rights in Australia. Please note, visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

What You’ll Do

• Lead from the Front: Coach, roster, and inspire a team of 8–12, leading by example during every service.
• Champion the Vibe: Embody our “Always Welcome” culture, ensuring every guest experience is memorable.
• Drive the P&L: Hit gross profit, labour %, and wastage targets without being tied to a laptop.
• Own the Details: Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships with zero surprises.

• $70,000–$80,000 + Super (negotiable).
