We serve breakfast and lunch seven days, host private functions and lots of large groups, and we are fully licensed. WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

· A seasoned hospitality professional with proven experience managing cafés or similar venues.
· Confident and experienced at leading and motivating teams.
· Skilled at handling orders, stock, bookings and logistics during fast-paced breakfast and lunch service.
· Solutions focused and customer service driven.
· Comfortable managing a licensed premises, large groups and private functions.
· Friendly, team focused and calm under any circumstances.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED
· Café management experience (minimum 2 years preferred).
· Team leadership and staff development skills.
· Ordering, inventory, and rostering experience.
· Barista skills preferred.
· RSA certification – essential.
· RMLV certification preferred.
· Strong organisational and interpersonal abilities.
· Adaptable problem-solver.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Flexibility to work across mornings, lunchtimes, weekends and after hours functions

As Café Manager, you’ll be driving the success of the business by taking control of day-to-day operations, while being a functioning member of the service team. This is a lead by example role, where you will be hands on in the business, from customer service to cleaning… In our business, everyone helps! MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
· Positive team leadership with a focus on respect, appreciation and accountability.
· Be the standard for exceptional, genuine, honest customer care.
· Work with the owners along with our highly experienced and talented head chef and team supervisor for recruitment, training, rostering, ordering, group bookings and private functions.
· Empower staff to take responsibility for their jobs, and to deliver their best.
· Compliance (health and safety, liquor licence).
