Goldfinch Café is a vibrant and creative hub in Westbury-on-Trym, Bristol. Our café is a warm, welcoming space that blends great food and coffee with community spirit, creativity, and sustainability. Goldfinch Café is a destination for families, creatives, and locals alike.
We are looking for a Café Manager to lead our team and ensure we continue to provide exceptional food, coffee, and service while maintaining a friendly, community-focused atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Team Management:
• Recruit, train, and manage a team of baristas and café staff.
• Lead by example to create a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
• Maintain a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere for customers.
• Handle customer queries and feedback in a professional and friendly manner.
• Oversee the daily running of the café, ensuring cleanliness, efficiency, and excellent food and drink quality.
• Manage inventory, stock ordering
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards.
• Monitor and manage daily takings.
• Work closely with the Goldfinch Create and Play team to align café operations with the studio’s creative vision and events.
• Support the introduction of seasonal menus, promotions, or events.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• A proactive approach to achieving financial and operational goals.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
