CAFÉ MANAGER – PORT MOODY

Caffè Divano is looking for a full-time Café Manager to join our family-run business and lead our Port Moody team.
We are proud to serve handcrafted specialty coffees alongside fresh, scratch-baked goods from our sister bakery, Gabi & Jules. Our cafés in Port Moody and Coquitlam are built on community, kindness, and quality. Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As Café Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of daily café operations — ensuring excellent guest experiences, smooth team coordination, and efficient business performance. You’ll work closely with the owners and current manager during a 3–6 month transition period, with the goal of independently managing the café thereafter.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Upholding standards: Maintain quality and service consistency, ensure health & safety compliance
  • Leading the team: Scheduling, delegating roles, assigning duties, onboarding, training, recognizing strong performance, and addressing issues with fairness and respect
  • Customer experience: Greeting guests warmly, resolving complaints, and fostering a welcoming, community-focused environment
  • Labour management: Building schedules that balance staff needs with labour targets, adjusting as necessary
  • Inventory & supplies: Ordering, tracking stock, managing shortages, and completing accurate inventory counts
  • Maintenance & appearance: Ensuring the café is clean, organized, and all equipment is properly maintained
  • Communication: Keeping clear, open communication with owners, supervisors, and shift leads
