Leading the Team
§ Inspire and support our front-of-house and kitchen teams
§ Foster our values of kindness, teamwork, and looking out for each other
§ Handle scheduling, training, and development of staff
§ Encourage “adult conversations” - creating an environment where issues are discussed openly and supportively
§ Be the go-to person for conflict resolution and team support
Delivering the Toast Experience
§ Ensure exceptional customer service that turns first-time visitors into regulars
§ Handle customer complaints with grace, turning problems into opportunities
§ Maintain the warm, community-focused atmosphere that makes Toast special
§ Build relationships with our park community and regular customers
§
Operations Excellence
§ Oversee daily operations including opening and closing procedures
§ Ensure all cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained
§ Manage stock rotation (FIFO), ordering, and inventory control
§ Monitor food safety, quality standards, and compliance
§ Handle cash management and daily reporting
Growing the Business
§ Work with Sarah and James on new initiatives and improvements
§ Identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience
§ Contribute ideas for menu development and seasonal offerings
§ Help plan and execute community events and promotions
§ Be part of shaping Toast’s future as we continue to evolve
