JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Café Manager to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Café Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high-quality food and beverage service, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in the food industry or hospitality sector, with a focus on restaurant management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of barista practices is a plus.
  • Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience in kitchen operations is beneficial for overseeing food preparation processes.

    Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily café operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Train, mentor, and lead café staff to ensure excellent service standards and team cohesion.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
  • Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café environment, including kitchen areas.
  • Monitor financial performance through effective cost control measures.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients.
