Your opportunity As our Cafe Shift Lead at Glenhaven Green, you will oversee daily cafe operations in our seniors living facility, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and resident-focused service. By leading the team, maintaining hygiene, and preparing meals that meet individual preferences, you will help us deliver compassionate care and enhance the daily experiences of our residents. Ensure safe work practices, cleanliness, and compliance with HACCP, WHS, and health standards Oversee food preparation, presentation, and adherence to residents' dietary needs and preferences Lead and supervise cafe staff, fostering teamwork, providing training, and promoting Anglicare's Christian values Contribute to a hygienic environment by cleaning equipment, managing waste, and maintaining storerooms What you’ll bring You are a hardworking, reliable leader with a passion for cooking and caring for the elderly. You bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork. You also share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence, embedding them in everything you do. Excellent communication skills, including fluent English literacy (spoken and written) Willingness to be trained in kitchen operations and food production Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation Commitment to safe work practices and resident-focused service Ideally, you will also have: Kitchenhand or food production experience Experience in food preparation Knowledge of Aged Care catering policies & procedures and HACCP principles Why Anglicare?
