Learn more by visiting Beansprouts | A hip & healthy cafe serving family destinations About the Cafe Shift Lead Position Bean Sprouts is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Shift Lead with a passion for providing an exceptional guest experience and creating a positive work environment. As the Bean in Charge (our title for our Shift Lead position), you ensure each guest has a top-notch Bean Sprouts, support café operations, and foster positivity and playfulness within the team. This position is part-time, 20-30 hours per week within the hours of 8am - 5pm, Monday through Sunday. Must be available weekends and holidays. Cafe Shift Lead Responsibilities Support the day-to-day café operations including opening and closing the café, preparing menu items, and providing an exceptional guest experience Ensure that all menu items are consistently prepared and served according to Bean Sprouts’ recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards Follow and communicate Bean Sprouts’ policies to team members, and ensure standard operating procedures are followed at all times Create a healthy, innovative, positive, and playful work environment in alignment with Bean Sprouts' HIPP Core Values Support a safe and inclusive work environment by ensuring all safety protocols are followed and addressing or sharing any concerns Requirements Available to work weekends and holidays with seasonal flexibility At least 1 year of restaurant experience with a strong commitment to customer service At least 1 year of supervisory experience Enjoy a playful work environment and be comfortable interacting with kids Food Handler's Certificate within first 30 days of employment (we provide training and certification resources if you don't have one yet!) The physical requirements for this position are bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 pounds, and being able to stand for 4 to 8 hours with or without accommodation.
