Description Description Join the team at Lake Lawn Resort as a Café Supervisor at the Isle of Capri Café. In this role, you’ll oversee daily café operations, support and lead team members, ensure excellent guest service, and help maintain efficient food and beverage service standards throughout each shift. Position Details Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Weekends required) Department: Food & Beverage / Café What You’ll Do Supervise daily café operations and assist with opening and closing procedures Lead, train, and support café attendants to ensure exceptional guest service Greet guests, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards Assist with preparing coffee drinks (including lattes), cold beverages, sandwiches, and pizzas as needed Handle guest concerns or service issues professionally and efficiently Maintain inventory levels of café supplies, bakery items, and food products Assist with ordering, receiving, and restocking supplies Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained throughout the café Balance registers and oversee end-of-shift cash handling procedures Support scheduling, shift coverage, and daily team communication Requirements What We’re Looking For Previous café, barista, food service, or supervisory experience preferred Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills Comfortable handling cash and working in a fast-paced environment Ability to multitask, stay organized, and lead during busy periods Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to motivate team members and maintain a professional work environment Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent use of hands for food prep and beverage service Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Work Environment Indoor café setting within a high-volume resort Moderate noise level Fast-paced, guest-focused environment About Lake Lawn ResortLocated on Delavan Lake, Lake Lawn Resort is a premier destination known for exceptional guest experiences and a strong team culture.
