JOB SUMMARY

We are currently seeking to recruit a dedicated Café Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of operations within Craigtoun Park Café. As the Café Supervisor your job will be day-to-day supervision of the café, reporting directly to the Park Manager.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience supervising a team within the food and beverage industry.
  • Food and Hygiene Certificate to a minimum Level 2
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification is beneficial although not essential
  • Health and Safety knowledge
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: £26,910.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise the day-to-day running of the café, ensuring excellent customer service and efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate the café team.
  • Food Preparation Support: Carry out basic food preparation and give practical assistance with kitchen duties as needed.
  • Rota Management: Produce weekly staff rotas in line with the Park Manager’s guidelines.
  • Cash Management: Working within a budget and ensuring accurate daily cash handling
  • Stock Management: Place orders to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimise wastage.
  • Staff Training: Train and mentor staff, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Collaboration: Work alongside management to design and implement promotional events aimed at enhancing the café’s performance.
  • Delegation: Ensure proactive team task delegation.
  • Allergen Awareness and Product Knowledge: Maintain a high standard of product knowledge and allergen awareness.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain a high standard of Food and Health & Safety practices.
  • Product development: Work with the park management team to develop the café’s product offering in line with our operating model and visitor requirements.
