JOIN OUR TEAM: We’re hiring for a Cafe Supervisor to help lead our Oakville cafe team! Do you have a passion for all things coffee? Are you willing to grow and learn among others? If so, we would love to hear from you.
Position: Cafe Supervisor
Location: Oakville
Starting Wage: $18.50 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous barista/cafe experience is required
• Previous customer service experience is required
• Experience operating a POS system is required
• Previous leadership experience is preferred
• Possession of a Food Handler’s Certificate is preferred

• An understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of Pilot Coffee Roasters;
• Work with Cafe Manager on monthly sales budgets to achieve desired results
• Control weekly and monthly labour targets, making appropriate adjustments when necessary
• Keep the cafe clean, organized and fully stocked by ensure staff are following daily/weekly checklists
• Inventory, ordering and receiving products while minimizing waste and overhead and addressing/following up with quality related issues
• Report and resolve any inaccuracies or quality issues in orders that are received
• Initiate and execute special projects that improve an area of the business
• All other reasonable duties assigned by the company
