Position Overview: The primary responsibility of the Café Team Leader is to perform several job duties under the guidance of the HBC Manager including: daily oversight and coordination of the café, training new Café Team Members, and performing all responsibilities of a Café Team Member. Essential Job Functions: Monitor and follow up on the cleanliness and sanitation of café. Perform audits on all cleaning logs on a regular basis. Ensure that adequate supplies are maintained to perform daily tasks. Ensure that staff is adequately oriented and trained. Role model responsibility for personal safety and safety of others. Perform all duties listed on Café Team Member job description. Qualifications and Experience: Must be at least 18 years of age Must be able to operate a computer and handle basic cash transactions Must be responsible, accountable, dependable and flexible Must enjoy working with the elderly and be able to understand their needs Prefer ServSafe certificate or willing to achieve a certificate Physical Requirements: Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.

Responsibilities

The Café Team Leader is responsible for daily oversight and coordination of the café, training new team members, and performing all responsibilities of a Café Team Member. They also monitor cleanliness and sanitation, ensure adequate supplies, and role model safety practices.
