Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on leadership role reporting to the Café Manager and Assistant Cafe Manager, who manage admin, rosters and stock across all five cafés - so you can focus on what matters most: smooth daily operations, team performance and customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support the café staff.
  • Open café and prepare for morning trade.
  • Delegate tasks and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Prepare fresh menu items and barista-made coffee.
  • Handle cash and daily reconciliation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all café areas.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and company policies.

About You

  • 2+ years’ experience in food and beverage, with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Passion for customer service and team development.
  • Available to work five consecutive days, including one weekend day and Public Holidays. Potential for occasional work outside these days depending on operational requirements and availability.
