Hesston Bakery & Cafe is looking for a full-time Cafe Team Lead to join our team! The hours for this position are 6:30am - 1:30pm with weekends as needed.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The primary responsibility of the Café Team Leader is to perform several job duties under the guidance of the HBC Manager including: daily oversight and coordination of the café, training new Café Team Members, and performing all responsibilities of a Café Team Member.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Monitor and follow up on the cleanliness and sanitation of café.
• Perform audits on all cleaning logs on a regular basis.
• Ensure that adequate supplies are maintained to perform daily tasks.
• Ensure that staff is adequately oriented and trained.
• Role model responsibility for personal safety and safety of others.
• Perform all duties listed on Café Team Member job description.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to operate a computer and handle basic cash transactions
• Must be responsible, accountable, dependable and flexible
• Must enjoy working with the elderly and be able to understand their needs
• Prefer ServSafe certificate or willing to achieve a certificate

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Medium Work Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly.
