We are seeking an outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic person to join our team at the farm shop cafe. You will work part-time hours over a minimum of 3 days per week, including regular weekend shifts as that is when we are busiest.
You will get involved will all aspects of the café – making barista coffees, cooking breakfast and lunch dishes to order, preparing salads, serving on the deli counter, taking customer orders, using the till, serving food, cleaning and dishwashing as well as talking to customers. Great service is as important to us as great food, so we want staff who care as much about it as we do.
You’ll need to be reliable, energetic and a fast learner. You will be able to work at a fast pace and step up a gear at peak times to ensure customers aren’t kept waiting, so you’ll need to be able to thrive under a bit of pressure. Extra hours may be required during peak holiday periods so flexibility is also important.
Previous cooking experience and a knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques is desirable as you will be trained to cook dishes from our menu. We provide staff with uniform and a discount for your own shopping.
You must be over 18 to apply for this role and able to work at least 3 full days per week.
