WAITING STAFF

“Carewswood Garden Centre Cafe is currently seeking a friendly and enthusiastic waiting staff to join our team. As a waiting staff, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Located just past Castlemartyr village in an old walled garden overlooking a luscious display of garden plants & Irish countryside, our cafe opens at 9:30 to serve breakfast and coffee followed by lunchtime and afternoon delights until 5pm. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, interacting with customers from all walks of life.
We are looking for candidates with a keen interest in food and beverage, who relate well to people and are customer-centered. Previous experience within a similar environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
The positions available would be with weekend, public and bank holiday availability. REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers and ensure mutual satisfaction
• Applicants must be 18 years old
• Customer-oriented and planning skills
• Working knowledge of cash register and any ordering information system
• Outstanding people skills
• Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving
• Food safety training will be a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

• Advise on the best food and drink choices for each customer and answer questions
• Take orders and deliver them to the table mannerly & accurately
• Attend to the tables and guarantee compliance to cleanliness standards
• Make Coffee, drinks and plate desserts
• Check the quality of the final servings and resolve any issues
• Deliver bills and accept payment
• Work with other staff as a team
• Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality
• Carry out opening and closing procedures
