JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Acai/smoothies Café worker/shift supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our café. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management and/or demonstrate exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a passion for culinary excellence, customer service, and team development, ensuring that our café provides an exceptional dining experience for all guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food industry.
• Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food production, preparation, and handling.
• Familiarity with quick service & fast food restaurant operations as well as fine dining experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality management.
• Demonstrated ability in staff training, shift management, and supervising teams effectively.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes within a café or restaurant setting.
• Experience in kitchen management and food safety compliance is essential.
• Previous experience in catering, banquet services, or bar operations is a plus.

• Manage all aspects of café operations, including food preparation, making Acai & Poke Bowl, and Smoothies and service.
• Supervise staff and provide training & development to ensure high performance and adherence to food safety standards.
• Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
• Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while adhering to health regulations.
• Develop and implement menus that reflect the café’s vision and customer preferences.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist with budgeting and financial management to optimize profitability.
• Conduct interviews for new staff members and participate in the hiring process.
