Title: Cafeteria Assistant, Part-time Reports to: Principal Location: Saint Martha School Classification: Hourly/Nonexempt Overview: The Cafeteria Associate is responsible for tasks related to student meal service, including the timely assembly, final preparation and delivery of nutritionally appropriate meals. The Cafeteria Associate also practices appropriate food handling techniques and safety procedures while demonstrating excellent customer service skills on a consistent basis. Job responsibilities: * Receives/Coordinates food deliveries. * Delivers assigned lunches so that they reach intended students. * Ensures compliance with Department of Health regulations. * Coordinates the faculty lounge (food, beverage, gifts, occasional catering). * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Previous Food Industry or Customer Service experience preferred. * Must complete food handler training at point of hire. * Good communications skills both written and oral. * Authorization to work in the United States. * Ability to pass a Level II background check.
