Description Position Summary This position requires consistent adherence to policies and procedures of the department as outlined in the Biltmore Standard Operating Procedures (BSOP’S). Responsibilities · Serve guests lunch during their break time in a hospitable and respectful manner. In this case, the guests would be Biltmore Hotel employees and possibly outside contractors. · Clean and sanitize buffet line, tables, chairs and any other equipment that comes into contact with food products. · Keep buffet line, coffee machine, milk dispenser, soda dispenser, cabinets, etc. clean and replenished at all times. · Remove dirty dishes, glasses, utensils etc. and take to stewards for proper cleaning and sanitizing. · Pick up and deliver clean dishes, glasses and utensils to Legends Cafeteria in a timely manner, so that guests have available for their break time. · Place orders correctly and in a timely manner for needed food and dry good products. Physical Demands · Must be able to: Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping Communicate with employees, managers, and outside vendors through verbal communication, hearing ability, and visual acuity. Adapt to moderate temperatures in the hotel as thermostat is controlled by hotel environmental systems. Most work tasks are performed indoors. Responsibilities
