About the Role: The Cafeteria Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of food service within a cafeteria setting by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and providing excellent customer service. This position requires attentiveness to food safety standards and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The attendant supports the team by handling various tasks such as stocking supplies, cleaning dining areas, and assisting customers with their needs. The role demands physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions, as well as the capability to lift and carry heavy items safely. Minimum Qualifications: * Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * Physical capability to stand for the duration of the shift and perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and arms. * Experience or ability to safely lift and carry heavy weights up to 50 pounds. * Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and measure food portions accurately. * Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards in a food and beverage environment.
