Description The Foodservice Worker will prepare and cook large batches of food that will be served to employees. Role and Responsibilities Clean, cut, prepare, and cook meat, fish, or poultry to a safe temperature. Prepare and cook various items according to menus, or number of portions to be served. Bakes breads, rolls, and pastries. Distributes and serves food to employees. Washes cooking equipment, such as pots, pans, dishes, utensils, and other pieces. Develops, compiles, and maintains food records regarding use and expenditures. Inventories supplies and equipment. Ensures the cleanliness and functional operation of equipment, kitchen appliances, and work areas by routinely cleaning and inspecting each piece. Clears, cleans and sanitizes work stations. Operates grill, broiler, or deep fryer to prepare specific foods Follow all GMP and Food Safety Standards Performs other duties as assigned MUST PROVIDE RESUME! Requirements Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED Illinois Sanitation License required Basic understanding of, or ability to learn, basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety. Basic understanding of, or ability to learn, food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures. 1+ years of related café/kitchen experience MUST PROVIDE RESUME!
