Description
Position Summary: Responsible for logging Title 31 compliance. Safeguard company assets. Provide guest service to external and internal guests. Accurately handles guest exchanges for chips/cash equivalents for cash, cash checks within established procedures and all other associated cage functions and cooperates with Team Members within the department, as well as other departments. Essential Functions: 1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values. 2. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. 3. Take appropriate measures to safeguard the Company's assets, including chips and cash. 4. Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed and balanced at the close of business. 5. Attend to guest needs and ensure overall guest satisfaction. 6. Responsible for the final balancing of funds and assets assigned during a shift. 7. Work front line, fill bank, employee bank, kiosk bank, main bank as assigned. 8. Efficiently operate all equipment, hardware and software used in job functions, including but not limited to jet scanner, coin sorting machines and 10 key calculators. 9. Tier 1 cashiers may be assigned to any bank as required, but are expected to consistently demonstrate knowledge of and perform the following tasks: a. Conduct e-check, cash advance, chip, cash exchange, ticket redemption, kiosk redemption, promotional payout, resort wallet deposit and withdrawals, fast funds payment, and fee reimbursement transactions. Process and properly log all transactions in the applicable systems. b. Perform enrollment processes for E-check, Cashless Gaming, and Slot Credit transactions. c. Operate all cage currency counters. d. Follow all double/verification guidelines and thresholds including notification of surveillance when applicable. 10. Work with other departments, including kiosk team, as required to ensure operations run smoothly throughout the shift. 11. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. 2. Must be at least 21 years of age. 3. Maintain professional demeanor in fast-paced environment. 4. Must have analytical, organizational, and time management skills. 5. Must be detail oriented. 6. Must have the ability to perform data entry in computer applications. 7. Must be able to perform basic math calculations without the use of a calculator. 8. Must be flexible with daily responsibilities and work schedule; able to work holidays, weekends and an 8-hour shift. 9. Willing to learn all areas of cage. Preferred Qualifications: 1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred, but not necessary. Physical Requirements: 1. Ability to accurately distinguish color, letters, numbers, and symbols visually. 2. Ability to perform repetitive bending movements for the duration of the shift 3. Ability to perform repetitive kneeling for the duration of the shift. 4. Ability to repetitively reach for the duration of the shift. 5. Ability to repetitively lift items weighing up to 50 pounds for the duration of the shift. 6. Ability to stand for duration of shift. 7. Requires constant wrist and arm movements related to typing and extended computer use. 8. Requires constant view of computer screens throughout shift. 9. Requires frequent pushing of carts filled with chips, cash and coin for a minimum of 50% of the shift. 10. Requires frequent pulling of carts filled with chips, cash and coin for a minimum of 50% of the shift. Work Conditions: Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain second hand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. Tasks performed from a sitting or non‐ sitting position. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
