Description Kings Card Club is looking for a Part-Time graveyard Cage Cashier to join our team! **Please note that only candidates selected for future consideration will be contacted. Please refrain from contacting us; we appreciate your interest and will review all applications and reach out to candidates who closely match our requirements.** SUMMARY Responsible for providing our casino guests with excellent cashier services efficiently and accurately while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude. Services include cash exchange and credit card transactions, as well as other monetary transfers of funds. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED) Monetary transactions cash for chips and chips for cash. Monitors cash in the cage. Balances cash at the beginning, throughout, and end of each shift. Counts bundles of money at least once a shift. Processes credit and debit card transactions. Greets customers and thanks customers for playing in a pleasant and courteous manner. Keeps accurate documentation, promotion sheet, etc. Records and seals dealer's tournament and regular tips. Keeps tournament racks set-up and ready for next use. Completes tournament paperwork for specified events. Records data and accounting for funds. Completes jackpot paperwork and tracking. Completes CTRC rough drafts with required paperwork. Responsible for AML/BSA record keeping and tracking. Extensive knowledge of AML/BSA program and procedures. Communicate upon receipt of packages and mail. Communicate issues in a timely manner. Cleaning, Sanitizing, and baking casino chips. Cleaning and sanitizing workstations. Sets aside crispy bills for ATM use. Verifies drop and is responsible for drop data entry. Other duties may be assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Requirements EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum of one (1) year of experience in casino gaming operations and cash handling. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. COMPUTER SKILLS Must be able to utilize Microsoft Word processing, Access, Excel and the Internet to adequately present proposals, requests for staffing/supplies and equipment along with the skills to prepare various reports, reprimands, dispositions, evaluations, etc. Prepares and maintains a written log of incidents and reports as required for the position; writes or types reports and accurately recall details. Enters information in a computer using proper grammar; inspects security control logs and takes action as required. Has the ability to learn to operate mobile and hand-held radios. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS City Permit is required. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to work a flexible schedule.
