Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort Position Description   POSITION TITLE:                          Cage Cashier DEPARTMENT:                                Finance, WSOP GRADE/FSLA STATUS:                H10-Non-Exempt BADGE TYPE/COLOR:                 Key--Blue REPORTS TO:                                  Supervisor, Cage SUPERVISE:                                       N/A   JOB SUMMARY: Provide excellent customer service to gaming and internal guests through Cashier transactions while ensuring all funds are secure and accounted for.   JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values 2. Responsible for all funds entrusted during an assigned shift 3. Deliver excellent customer service to all gaming guests 4. Understand and comply with all government regulations  5. Understand and comply with government Anti-money Laundering regulations. Know when and how to submit a Suspicious Activity Incident Report (SAI).  Know the red flags of suspicious transactions or activities  6. Understand what information is needed to complete Currency Transaction Reports (CTR’s), Monetary Instrument Logs (MIL’s) and Multiple Transaction Logs (MTL) and able to enter the customer information needed to complete forms  7. Able to process OFAC (Office of Foreign Asset Control) screenings when needed before completing transactions 8. Process cashiering transactions for guests including cashing checks, chip redemptions, markers and payments, credit card advances, bill breaking and other transactions. 9. Able to handle extremely large chip transactions accurately utilizing calculation tools to determine correct payout as well as correct payment to the guests 10. Ability to create and maintain customer RA (Resort Advantage) accounts and enter transactions into RA Floor Monitor, checking and entering all customer data needed to comply with government regulations  11. Identify customers who may be trying to structure transactions or evade or circumvent identification requirements 12. Able to work all front line, employee, chip bank, marker bank, poker cage, F&B and bank positions 13. Able to process very large payouts and payments for Casino Credit patrons quickly and accurately 14. Able to complete all paperwork accurately  15. Utilize computer workstation for majority of the functions of the cashier job. 16. Count and Process chip transactions accurately, verifying play before payment to comply with Title 31 and Know Your Customer regulations 17. Process jackpot payouts, verify W2-G paperwork 18. Exhibit sound decision-making 19. Work in box office assisting with ticketing for event center shows 20. Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions 21. Proactive with customer incidents and able to solve issues or contact supervisor to help ensure resolution with guests 22. Assist with WSOP registration desk duties when needed 23. Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures  in an ethical manner 24. Flexible to work additional hours, shifts and days off when needed and flexible with daily assignments   MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school diploma or GED required 2. Six months cashier/cash handling experience preferred 3. Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills: 4. Basic math skills 5. Intermediate computer skills 6. Basic 10 key adding machine skills 7. Good oral and written communication skills 8. Excellent interpersonal skills 9. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 10.
