Description JOB SUMMARY: This position is under the direct supervision of the Cash Operations Manager and is located at The Stables Casino. This position is responsible for verification of bank at both beginning and ending of shift. Cash electronic game receipt tickets for guest. Make change for guest as requested. Performs all functions in accordance with applicable laws and gaming regulations, as well as established policies, procedures. MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsible for large sums of money and payout of tickets Ensure all required paperwork is signed and in the shift packets for auditing procedures Perform guest financial transactions (i.e., ticket redemptions, voucher redemptions, check cashing, credit advances, chip sales/redemptions, etc.) Ensure the customer has signed for all payout for tickets over location-set amount before ticket is paid Answer customer or public inquiries regarding general gaming procedures, payouts, etc. Make change at customer’s request, exchange money, credit, tokens, and tickets Verify identification of customers when needed Verify authenticity of tickets and requests for payouts Keep accurate records of monetary exchanges, authorization forms, and transaction reconciliations Maintain an accurate cash drawer, ensuring that all transactions are accounted for by the end of the shift OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintains the highest level of confidentiality Performs other tasks and duties as directed This position includes but is not limited to the job functions listed above. Requirements MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age Must have a High School Diploma or GED Must possess a valid driver’s license Must have one (1) to two (2) years related experience or training (preferred) Must be able to obtain and maintain a Modoc Nation Gaming License May be subject to criminal background investigation Must possess in high integrity regarding confidential and sensitive information Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral Must have the ability to work in fast paced environment, multitask and meet deadlines REGULATORY COMPLIANCE: Maintains excellent working relationships with other Company staff and all applicable regulatory commissions and other agencies as may be applicable to ensure compliance. Performs all duties in accordance with the gaming operations core values, objectives of the Modoc Nation, system of internal control policies and procedures, as well, as applicable laws and gaming regulations, including but not limited to, the state-tribal compact, IGRA, MICS, the Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control, USA Patriot Act and Privacy Act.
