JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a positive shopping experience for our customers. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers
• Familiarity with technology sales or technical sales is advantageous
• Excellent organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently in a busy environment
• Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone

Education:

• Process customer transactions accurately using the POS system
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting with inquiries
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist with merchandising and restocking as needed, labelling
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback
• Assist pharmacist in the lab to prepare prescriptions, answering the phone and other tasks
