Overview Do you have experience crafting beautifully decorated cakes and desserts? Responsibilities Our cake decorator's primary responsibilities are to support the bakery in stocking our case with an abundance of fresh, beautiful, high-quality products while providing world-class service to our guests. They will prepare a variety of cakes, desserts and pastries consistently at a high rate of speed; mix creams, sauces, fillings and icings; apply finishing work to cakes; take guest orders by phone and in-person; and assist the bakers and bakery clerks as needed while maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment. Qualifications You should meet the following requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to read and write in English An eye for color, texture and design with an attention to detail Experience in a retail environment producing a large number of cakes/pastries Ability to work at a fast pace while staying focused on completing individual tasks Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate, read and write basic instructions, schedules and signage A positive attitude is essential!
