Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and experienced Head Cake Designer / Team Leader to join our bakery team located in Tenafly, NJ. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will oversee all aspects of cake design and production, including baking, decorating, and creating custom cakes and cookies. You will manage the team to ensure high-quality standards, productivity, and excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the bakery team to ensure quality and efficiency
• Design and create custom cakes, cookies, and other baked goods
• Bake and decorate cakes with excellent attention to detail and creativity
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and quality control
• Ensure timely delivery of products and customer orders
• Train and mentor junior bakers and decorators
• Provide outstanding customer service and respond to client requests

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in cake designing, decorating, and baking
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent creativity and attention to detail
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Previous experience in a similar lead or supervisory bakery role preferred
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience is a bonus
• Must be local to Tenafly, NJ or nearby
